Open Arms Domestic Violence Shelter and Rape Crisis Services

Open Arms is always in need of youth volunteers to come in and have structured play-time activities with the residential children, under the supervision of the Child Advocate.  This gives the mothers a break to make phone calls, catch up on chores, etc.

Work one-on-one with mature women either on weekdays or weekends, flexible hours.  Play cards and board games (bingo), talk with, accompany on summer trips and sporting events (bowling, shopping, picnics), write letters, and enjoy.

Assist implanting, care and maintenance of historic garden.  Reports for 1-2 hour work sessions on a monthly basis throughout growing season.
